Installing LED Emblem Question

Guys, I finally received my LED emblems today but I have a question before I start installation. They seem to be referencing some sort of LED module for installation.

The first photo is from an ebay posting and the others are photos of what I actually have. That module part is throwing me off. I'm thinking they're talking about the yellow white and black wiring thing but the with a black and white diagram that mentions nothing of yellow I'm kind of confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I have a front emblem as well that I'm assuming I just need to hook up to any 12v source I can find that's on when the headlights are on. Any help advice on that would be greatly appreciated.

Do you actually want the rear emblem to turn red when the brake is applied? Because if you don't, you can just tap it into a 12v source in the back, like our tail light for instance. And for the front, you can tap into parking light

yea i want the back one to turn red. everything makes a lot more sense now that i've found that second wiring diagram. not sure what the black wire is for though. it has three wires inside of it, black red and white.

You really need to add pics if you're wanting help. Black should be ground. If you really want to know what all the wires are then touch the black to your negative on your battery and the others one at a time to figure out which one is which color. If yellow is your red then that hooks up to your taillight and the white to your running lights. Black can be attached to anything metal.

anybody know what gauge wiring the car has? trying to plan my connectors out so I can do this today. otherwise i'll have to wait a week.

I actually found that exact picture shortly after throwing in the towel and decided to give it another go. it was kind of a rush job and i'll have to go back over it with some more permanent connections but everything is working on the rear LED. now I just need to get the front connected. I have no idea what I should wire it to though...it needs to be to something that only comes on when the car is on....

Here is the rear emblem working. I probably won't be able to do the front until next week. Any tips on how to wire the front between now and then would be greatly appreciated!

Technically you are using it as a signaling device. It's wired up to switch from white to red when you are stopping which is indicating you are braking. You're also using something which switches from white to red which depending how much of an ass they want to be, they could get you on that.

I'd leave it. If you were to get pulled over take pictures and take to court and explain its function. If they don't like it just fix it.

I wouldn't worry too much about. It's not that bright and doesn't project a light towards anything. It just lights up the emblem. I doubt anyone messes with ya.

Post pics of your install if you do it. I spent so much time figuring things out that I forgot. PM me for any tips if needed.
