Driver Side B Pillar removal tips/pics request

I want to access my rear door speakers to tap into them and I know you can behind the B pillars. Does anyone have any tips or pics doing this before I just try to pry them off blindly tonight? I don't want to break all the clips or mess anything up and yes, I've searched plenty of threads and couldn't find any solid tips on this. I did read to remove the kick guard first and I'm assuming that might just pry off as well.

I'm going to hoop up a line output converter for my amp with the read speakers and unfortunately they are in the doors typically these days and not longer on the back dash.

When I did my led door handles I had to take that B pillar off and run the wires through the boot, there are a few clips behind exactly just like your door panel. Just carefully use some elbow grease and pop them open, just remember to take off your weather strip and your scuff plate first then slowly pull them off. Sort I don't have any pics to show you and all I can say is that they are held in by a few clips.

Thanks Dino, looks like I'll just have to take my time and gently pry to get them off. I wonder if I can access the speaker wires from just under the scuff plate. I assume they run under there to the b pillar and into the rear doors.

You absolutely could, you just have to know which wire it is. I can see if I can find out for you to make it a little easier.

That would be great, the colors of the passenger side rear speaker. I read somewhere that they should be twisted together and both the same color, with the negative having a black line obviously.
