Not at home, but plenty of posts on the forum and Google. You can also look up the problem with the Sonata same engine. Normally the wastgate voltage needs adjustment 4.1 volts.

 

How did you fix it? Our car is doing this...clear code and comes back in few days. Changed turbo sensor and still light comes back on

Unknown Issue...Only Happened Once

Fired up the car and drove off yesterday morning. Felt very sluggish....was revving very high before shifting. Something felt wrong. Pulled over, turned it off and on again....no issue. Has this happened to anyone else??

Yes I have, 2015 Optima SXL. Went on for a couple of days, then off since then. Dealer said it might have been a glitch or reset it self. I have a scan tool and it still shows up in “stored codes”. Dealer says if it comes on again to bring it in. There are no performance issues, still accelerates normally.

Did you try by starting by inspecting the wiring and connectors related to the turbocharger boost control sensor for any loose connections or damage.?

i think there is a failing wiring and connectors because there was nothing wrong with the wastegate actuator and map sensors, i replaced them already and still giving me the low voltage reading
