All,

I accidentally selected Spanish due to wearing gloves and I can't find a way to return to English. When I turn the car on and come to the page where you select confirm the only choices are Esponol and Confirma. English is greyest out.

Any my help would be appreciated.

Yea, that is what I thought. Pressing the Esponol key just beeps and the Confirma button takes you to navigation. I haven't been able to find a language selection in any of the other menus.

Thanks,

Michael

Sorry, I couldn't resist, senor! ;-)

Guys, thanks for all the suggestions.

So, after three days of Spanish only, the car decides to activate the English button when I turned it on today. Go figure. Could it be that this just happens to be the first day over freezing since the problem began?

Thanks again for all the support and humor!

If you continue having any other problems with the Nav, and doing the reset procedure doesn't help (I think you hold down two buttons for 5 seconds or something, I forgot), then you can also resort to re-flashing the software. You'd need the USB Navigation update from mapnsoft to re-flash. I solved a Nav issue using this technique, because my issue wouldn't go away even if I reset the Nav, so I resorted to re-flashing it and it was fine after that.
