Hey guys,

Looking to replace the stock halogen bulbs on my 2015 Optima with whiter bulbs. Been looking up H11 bulbs at least 4000k or above and found a few but just debating between the Sylvania Silverstar or the Philips?

P.S. I'm NOT looking to do a HID conversion, so if you're going to advise me to save my money and get HID's, don't :p

I'm trying to decide between these:

1) http://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-Silv...ar-Performance-Halogen-Headlight/dp/B005KDOAGC/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
2) Amazon.com: SYLVANIA H11 SilverStar High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb, (Pack of 2): Automotive
3) http://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-Silv...D=51adQdjJnpL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160,160_&refRID=0KGRVA7WS8B5N4PKPJKN
4) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GD8OL62?psc=1

Reading a bunch of things about lack of visibility etc anyone have any experience with these or any other recommendations? Again, I'm looking for direct fit replacement bulbs, nothing that requires additional adapters / ballasts to be mounted. I'd appreciate your feedback and thanks in advance!

How about this, I advised you to get H11 LED instead lol. All joking aside, I have CBIs HID and even that's not pure white as I would hope for. I've been changing a lot of my friends including my brother in law cars low beam to LED bulbs and all of them was really happy because they're nice and bright, not only that but they're pure white exactly what you're looking for. I wanted that for my car but even with my expensive CBIs can't achieve that pure white look that I'm after. Trust me you'll like it and the best thing about LED is that you don't have to worry about burning up like those HID bulbs because they light up instantly.

i would agree with dino2k you would be better off doing the led conversion. I have done led conversion on my 15 ex and it looks awesome. I picked them up on amazon and i also think that k5 also has led headlight (not sure). It was a real simple install took me about 15 minutes because my hand is too big. and also i think that you may also have to take the dust cover off too.

Before jumping to put leds in a halogen projector, you should consider the beam pattern that the led bulb produces in the projector. May or may not give better throw and width than halogen. My bet is it will not be as good as halogen. But, if you are just concerned about the color it puts out and not concerned about throw or width, than the led may work.

If you want a sure fire updgarde, doing the H9 conversion is smarter as Don mentioned. Same bulb design so the light distribution should be the same as H11, and you get the higher wattage of the H9 bulb.
