Hey that is pretty cool Scott! How did you get it to come out like that?
Some new LED puddle lights I installed Saturday left that "glare"
Just checking to see if US built optimas have a cutout in the passenger panel below the glovebox for a foot well light. If you look at page 56 here you can see the mod I did and what I am asking for.
How did you wire them, etc. Mine is a 13 and has it....built in the us.
I followed this but could not get mine to turn off when I put the car in reverse. His car is a 2012 mine is a 2011 Mine turn off as soon as I start the engine. http://www.optimaforums.com/forum/5-optima-general-discussion/8679-kia-optima-k5-foot-light.html and i was able to buy the Mobis parts from a friend in Korea to do the install.
That's pretty neat! Came out with a cool effect.

The default setting is
white red(brake) white
however if you add TPV version 2, it would be
white red(brake) delay white (video)
Also here is another link of this LED bulb, this link contains extra TPC module. You can apply this module to headlights parking light, or any other places.

The third brake light you are speaking of I assume? If so behind the rear passenger side seat. I will call it the cushion by the door. If you remove that cushion the third brake light plug is right there.Scott,

Mine had the original version one tpc module when I first bought it. Now as an option you can purchase the setup with version two tpc module to avoid the delay.
