Easy and cheap solution:

Ceriglass by Carpro
Amazon.com: CarPro Ceriglass Kit: Automotive

Glass polishing pad
Amazon.com: Griot's Garage 10665 3" Glass Polishing Pad, (Set of 3): Automotive

Drill attachment backing plate

You can buy all this cheaper from Autogeek and i'm fairly sure Ceriglass is sold in a kit. But the power tool helps to get a better "cut" on the glass.

I'm unsure if Kia uses cheap glass but my windscreen was really pitted, but now looks brand new.
