From what I can see its 152 mph ?Our speedlimit here is 75mph. Everybody runs generally 10-20 miles an hour over that.I've had my car over 110 mph .Will one of these cars run that fast without a govenor kicking in.And if that is so. Does the tires that come on the car have that speed rating. And I seen the Discount tires Control Contact Sport tires comes with a T rating. That rating is for 118 mph from what I can see.

No it's roughly 130 from what I've read. I've always thought cars had to come off the lot with a tire rating above what the car can go.

Things like this can be found by doing a quick search of the forum using the search box in the top right corner of the page.

I've gone ahead and done the search and found tons of results. Maybe one of these will help:

1. Top speed on the optima?

Well its like this guys. with my 2015 when I press down on it. It hits 100 mph and I have to let off on the gas for it to shift into high or overdrive whatever it is.
This car for a 2.4 4 cylinder will fly.

I’ve gone as fast as 148 in my 16 2.4 Lx but I did a ecu flash and I have a intake and a “straight piped” exhaust (Hi-Flow Cat)
