I have a 2013 Optima SX and last week my volume up control button on my steering wheel no longer responds on my UVO system. The volume down button works with no issues. I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue before and if so, how to go about fixing it?
Is it something that your average Joe can do or would it have to be taken in to someone?

I know it seems silly to complain about having to reach over to turn the volume up on the actual UVO system itself, but that makes you take your eyes off the road for just a split second, plus it is so handy to have the controls right at your fingertips.

Thanks.

I agree in that when any part is nonworking need to fix, but not certain as to an exact cause as volume button has been fixed with a clean/lube, but the wheel needs to be removed, also some were replaced and others clock spring replacement.

Thanks for the response. Is there any instructions or videos showing how to possibly clean or take a look at the button on the steering wheel?
