Hey all. I just upgraded from a 2007 Kia Optima to a used 2015 Kia Optima EX, which is a huge upgrade considering the basic model 07 I had.

With the 2015, I have found out that some work was done to the driver's side and I have been using the forums to look for answers. I look forward to getting assistance from the distinguished community in getting my "new" car up to the perfection I feel it should be.

Waiting for the chance to pick the brains of those in the know.

Welcome Bily's dad. I, or the daughter has the '08 Optima I purchased new, now with 300000 miles. That car was bulletproof when compared the '11 2.0 T, so hopefully you'll enjoy the EX and not have many problems, and if so hope they're small.
Check with Kia to be certain the upgrades are done, and if so, the engine has a lifetime warranty for what they call the debris issue. That's just catchall for a crappy designed engine with direct injection.
