To save everyone else issues. I would highly recommend getting the high voltage fuse replaced in the safety plug. The part only costs around $150 and if you are still under warranty have Kia check this. One of the possible reasons the car might randomly die and get a "Hybrid System Warning! Safely Stop and Do Not Drive" error on the dashboard screen.

My car died on a road trip during the weekend so a simple fix cost way more then expected, 7 hours away from home. Attached is the TSB.
