My wife's 2012 EX engine starts but transmission is not engaged. The car stays in Park, the transmission stick can be moved freely through all positions. There is no codes with OBD scan.

It has 50700 miles now. Few months ago, the transmission is stuck in Park position few times so I did replace Transmission Switch Inhibitor (Range switch) K-42700-26700.

Any idea on this problem?
Thanks in advance.

BTW, my 2013 SX was totaled the day before Thanksgiving.

First item I would look at is the shift cable. Look under the hood to see if shift cable is moving the transmission linkage while someone inside moves the shifter.
Not with only 50000 miles, but if a CV joint breaks the car won't move.
I would also think the car won't move if trans fluid is too low/ empty.

It seems only from BushingFix.com, not available at AutoZone, Napa.

^ Looks like you're correct. I saw it on ebay, but does look like it's only produced by BushingFix.
