So on my car when the taillights are on and I go to use the blinker it does what is shown in the video but then after blinker is turned off the entire taillight will go off for a second and then light will come back on. Sorry it's early hope that makes sense. I have the exled turn signal mod wired on my 13 sxl.
Left:
Green -----------------------> Brake light
Blue w/ orange stripe -----> Turn signal
GREEN w/ black stripe ----> Parking light
Black -----------------------> Ground
Right:
Green -----------------------> Brake light
Red--------------------------> Turn signal
Brown ----------------------> Parking light
Black -----------------------> Ground
Wires you would need for Diode Dynamics are the following:
Left:
Green --------------------------> Red input
Blue w/ orange stripe---------> Yellow Input
White output from module ---> Green
Right:
Green --------------------------> Red input
Red ----------------------------> Yellow input
White output from module ---> Green
Hope this helps. I'm gonna test it today as soon as I have time to solder everything.
And just a heads up you can use the black ground wire to ground the resistor, but I found I couldn't get a good enough tap in connection. I just grounded it under one of the securing bolts on the lights.

OK so I can confirm that this works as intended. Function wise the only difference I can verify between the exled module is at night when the parking lights are on only the inner boomerang LED lights up as the turn signal. During the day they both function the same if you have the parking lights off. This is for the 2014-2015 models.

I prefer the exled for the mean time cause I have them already. I bought the diode dynamics to test in case for what ever reason I can't get the exled warrantied. The exled modules have been sold out for a while.

which module are you referring to when saying "at night when the parking lights are on only the inner boomerang LED lights up as the turn signal. During the day they both function the same if you have the parking lights off"

thanks!. no problem I get the just of it. :thumbsup:
Im curious as how you mounted your load resistors. Only asking because mine get extremely hot to the touch. Im worried it might cause a fire or something.
yea, thats what I was thinking, but just not sure as there is little room to pretty much do anything. Would heat resistance epoxy/glue would work fine?
