Thanks for any insight on this.
My daughter stopped to pick up a To Go order. Turned her car off (2013 Kia Optima Hybrid), dashed inside, grabbed her food order and came back out to the car a moment or two later.

She had left the window down (insert my Dad/daughter talk here) and she noticed that her fuse cover is missing from the drivers side dash. It's not on the floor, the ground or anywhere that she can find. She is sure she would have noticed it before getting in the car previously. Everything seems fine and operational.

Is there anything that a thief could do in that area relative to stealing the car or remote fob info? Anything I should be concerned with?

Maybe scanning for fault codes? J/K. No idea why they would have taken the piece. Back in the 90's when I lived in NY, I saw someone get their battery stolen while they ran into McDonalds to pick up some food....Can probably find a replacement in Ebay.
