Hmm, I wonder if you can confirm by physically measuring the battery?

The three issues I can think of to check:
1) Does the battery provide enough amps and storage capacity?
2) Is the battery the right size to physically fit into the space for the battery?
3) Does the bottom of the battery have the right size of lip for the car's mounting system to grip the battery?

Oh, I bought my replacement battery from Advance Auto, but I can't remember which one I got.

I have a 2012 SX, which is the 2.0 Turbo engine. Does your 2013 EX have the 2.4 engine, or the 2.0 Turbo?

Perhaps the conflicting info you are seeing is due to the fact that (I think) the 2013 EX can have either type of engine, and maybe the two different engines can fit different ranges of battery sizes?

I can only speak for my 2.0T engine, but I'll check my battery and let you know which one I have (in the hopes that you have the 2.0T engine too?)
