Anyone paid the dealer for this repair? My car unexpectedly blew the belt last night. Luckily I was near the dealer to drop it off but it was Sunday they were closed. I just want to make sure they don’t try to charge me to much and weigh out if towing it to another place would be cheaper. (I have a tow truck friend). Thanks in advance for any advice.

Just saw the post, so probably the job ios done, but the upper smooth pulley is $80.00 and new belt $40 + labor $100, total $220.

Glad it was an easy fix. Not heard many with a pulley problem, but a couple of years ago our 2.0T made some noise in the winter so purchased the tensioner along with 2 idler pulleys but the noise never came back and pulleys still in garage., now at 189,000 miles.
