His is blue!
Great hood! The vents look awesome with the ts-style and definitely get that compared to the oe one unless you plan on looking the same with just carbon. I felt that carbon was good because of its attributes, one being weight. But the look was not my deal so I went premium and painted it all. It may sound crazy but take a look at the picture and say it looks horrid. It does not and turned out better than I thought! I also had eyelids attached if you don't see them at first. Thanks David for the purchase and for taking my money away lol I definitely appreciate it though because it looks awesome! One thing to remember is to take the rubber pieces off the oem hood to attach to the carbon hood because it lacks those and you'll need them for fitment and the alarm trigger. Also buy a hood prop and don't use the oem prop because it causes too much pressure for the cf hood. Otherwise enjoy!
Pictures here lol if it worked:

Looks great !!..personally, I'm not a fan of the Carbon look. I think yours looks way better in the contrasting paint scheme ..good job !
Still working on my own custom hood project using an OEM hood....but it kinda got sidelined by the Airbag suspension build !.....if only I could quit the day-job and have more time.....

Owen thank you so much for posting this review and pictures for others to see. I really really like what you did with your hood as it's definitely unique and nothing like any other ones out there.

Quit slacking, I wanna see this thing!! haha :poke:
I think I'd be inclined to paint as well. I've never been a big fan of two tone paint jobs. Something like this will have to wait til I'm done with the payments.....dual projectors on the other hand...:)

Thank you for placing your order with us Scott, we appreciate your business.

If you don't mind once you get the hood, please post up a pic or two of it installed.
I image freight would be a killer for this? Shame, I'd quite like one.

Yes unfortunately with these being shipped with a freight delivery service, shipping across the world would probably be VERY expensive. :(
How easy is it if I want to install the insulation pad from the factory hood?

I'm not sure, as there really is no need to do that with this hood.
Car season is quickly approaching, so you know what that means? It's time to get some carbon fiber!!

Weight savings with style! The Seibon carbon fiber hood is sure to attract some positive attention to your Optima
