Hello, I am having trouble with my XM Sattelite radio reception. I can only get a good signal when driving north (back of sharkfin antenna pointed south) or driving west (back of sharkfin antenna pointed east). Otherwise, the radio says 'aquiring signal' or signal goes in and out. Wondering if this would be a bad antenna or something in the radio itself. This is on a 2013 Optima LX without navigation.

I forgot to mention, about half the time, when I switch from regular radio to XM, it will say “loading Sirius”. I have to turn the key off and back on sometimes more than once to get it to work.

If you search the forums here, there have been many reports of bad antennas over the years. Seems perhaps the electronics under the sharkfin antenna may be going out on you.
