Hi guys, I have a 2012 Kia optima ex. I currently have 215/55 r17 stock on my car. A friend just gave me a set of Ruff R953 18 inch wheels. 18x8 for the front, and 18x9.5 for the rear. I really don't won't to stagger the rims. I would like to run 235/50 r18 all the way around. Is that possible and what do you guys think?
This is my first set of rims, so I'm new to all this.

Use this calculator to check to see how the new wheels/tires will compare to the originals: Rim & Tire Size Calculator. Custom Offsets

The 235/50/18 is a bit taller (3.7%) than your stock tires, so the speedo will be off. The 235/45/18 is almost an exact height match for your stock ones though.

The 235 will look and fit fine on the 18x8 rim, but on the 18x9.5 it will be super stretched. I have 225/45's on 19x8.5's and they are stretched. Not sure you'll even get that tire on a 9.5" rim.

Thanks, right now the rear has 245/40's. Should I just keep those on the rear and do a 225/45 on the front?

So you're saying the 18x9.5 wheel has a 245/40 on it now? I'm pretty sure you need to keep the front and rear sizes the same, as to not freak out the ABS. a 245/40/18 is 2.3% smaller than your stock tire. Use the calculator link and see what you have now vs what you're looking at.

Thanks WS6_Keith, I was hoping to be able to do that. Also does anyone know what size lugs will I need because my OEM lugs won't secure the wheel
