Hey everyone,

So my push to start button is worn down (i.e. some of the label is chipping and the button is becoming bare). I want to replace it with a new button so that it looks new again. Advance Auto Parts sells the button for under $55. This would be more of a cosmetic thing than a mechanical need since my ignition works fine and I've never had an issue starting my car.

Is it easy to replace the push to start button only or would the entire ignition system need to be replaced if I'm really gung-ho about changing the button? Would you say it's worth bringing to a mechanic to install and, if so, how much would it cost?

If anyone can advise or has done this before I'd appreciate some insight!

Thanks a lot!
