Is there a good aftermarket head unit that will use the existing bluetooth mic for telephone calls? I have installed head units in previous vehicles, and the bluetooth for calls sucks... Thanks in advance!

No aftermarket headunit will retain the existing mic. But there is a slight work around to getting it to work. You have to cut the microphone jack and splice it into the main harness. What stereo did your car come with? I might be able to help you out.
Most of these come with external mics and they work pretty well and much easier than splicing the factory harness.

Just the basic head unit.

On connector B splice into Pin 10 & 22. Very simple to do.

Pin 10 is Mic +
Pin 22 is Mic Ground

I decided to go with a Pioneer MVH-200EX from Crutchfield. I also got two pairs of Morel Maximo 6 speakers with a Pioneer GM-D9605 Amp to power them as well as my Pioneer TS-SWX2502 sub... Hopefully they work well.
Good luck with your install. hopefully the stock mic can work with the head unit.
Just seeing this thread now. Glad you found a unit that works for you!

Our UNAVI OEM Integrated Navigation System utilizes all of the original factory components, without needing any adapters, or the need to change anything out.

Bluetooth Microphone, Sirius Satellite Radio, Steering Wheel Controls, Backup Camera, and all other factory components remain working the same as before.
