So I had managed to buy a Salvage 2016 Optima Hybrid I had won at auction for really cheap since no one else bid on it. Damage wasn't too bad. Thought I could repair it and use as a second vehicle. Only needed the Both front and back passenger side doors and passenger mirror replaced. I've already ordered the 3 parts I need and am waiting on delivery. I was wondering this is the standard hybrid unit. would it be possible to swap the head unit from an EX unit into this model for use? I have a place I can get them from but before I did Was wanting to know if anyone had done this before or if it will even work?

I'm not sure... In theory, all Optimas of a given generation share identical base wiring, with the parts connected to that determining the trim level... But the Hybrid is a different beast. Still, it's the head unit, so it may be worth a shot. If the connectors and pinouts match, go for it.
