I bought an optima ex a month ago, and they charged me with a all weather floor mat, but I didn't realize until now.i've called the dealer and they're basically saying, it's my fault and they won't give the floor mat. Any idea what I can say our how I can getmoney back our the mat?

Was it on the sticker? Because they are required to give you everything that is stated in the Window sticker. At least that's what I believe. My dealer made sure I had everything especially that wheels locks.

Yeah, it's on the sticker, but I didn't notice until now. They're saying it's my fault for not checking and won't give either a refund or the floor mat
Call Kia corporate and submit a formal complaint, tell them everything you've told us. If the dealer won't refund you or give you the mats, then Kia should. That's ridiculous.
Yeah some dealers try to resolve the problem for the the customer before thy go to kia corporate. It sounds like they're not gonna help so corporate is your best bet. I thought legally thy are required to give you everything stated. Unless from their view they think your lying that you never received them.

Maybe post the dealer so some others might know to stay away?

The deadlines name is jack Daniel's kia in fair lawn NJ. I would never recommend this place to anyone, they made me wait 4 hours to meet finance manager, and blamed me for not giving them documents they didn't ask for. Never ever go there.
You may have problems proving that they never gave you the all weather floor mats, especially a month afterward. It will be your word against theirs.

However, I still recommend contacting corporate. Theyshould gladly give you floor mats (and maybe some other freebies) just to keep you happy and avoid bad publicity.

As Munky said, call KIA customer relations and file a complaint. If it was on the sticker, they owe you the part.

KIA really needs to up thier standards are far as dealers go - some are good, but a lot of them are the reason car dealers are not held in high regard. It just blows my mind that a dealer would risk the bad reputation and future lost profits for a set of floormats - unreal.
I don't know guys...A month later? It'd be hard to prove that he didn't get the mats. I can see both sides here. I for one made sure I got everything I paid for before I left the lot.
I went back a week later with a 1 inch scratch on inside pass door panel. Dealer told me that they would take care of the
scratch with a repair or if I wasn't sat with that they would replace the whole panel for me. What ever I wanted.
That dealer was Precision KIA in Wesley Chapel Florida. Great dealership.../..
First, I don't understand why they won't give you the mats if they're on the sticker and you paid for them.

I had a related problem with my dealer and I reported it to Kia Consumer Relations. I, at the time of the phone call to them, got a "case number" for my complaint. I then wrote an email to the head sales manager of the dealership outlining my problem and my complaint to Kia with the case number. Within 24 hrs. I heard from them wanting to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. It was a few steps later but it was resolved to my satisfaction.

I was, however, prepared to call the local television station consumer hotline and report my problem and be willing to go on television to warn others of the dealership's unsavory practice(s), all the time admitting my lack of total due diligence on the matter. Fortunately it didn't get that far, but I would have telegraphed my intentions to the dealership first, if need be, telling them to be prepared to see themselves on television.
It's kinda unclear whether OP paid for the mats and didn't get them, or he paid for the mats, but wanted to return them and get the money back. What mats do you have now, stock carpet ones? Then it would be easy to prove, just show them to the dealer. I doubt that when you purchase all weather mats from the dealer, they also give you the regular mats. Or I'm wrong?
Yeah,I realize it's a bit late, but the previous dealers always took away the normal carpet mats when they gave ask weather mats. I doubt they'd waste money by providing both
Btw, I do admit it is partially my fault, but I don't think I deserve to have to forcefully call and wait for the manager to call me back, never receive a reply, and hear from my salesman that the manager is to busy to talk to me and it's my fault.if I want away on a business trip,I would've called the cops and make a scene. It's not just the fact I didn't get what I paid got, but also the fact they treated me
I don't think calling the cops is really necessary use of their time. This sucks you are in this situation and hope it works out and we don't hear your 911 call "They won't give me my all weather floor mats..."
Lol, oops... I meant they'd call the cops. I'm typing everything on the phone, so trying to proof read makes things hard. But, i'm hoping to get this resolved with the dealer so I don't have to wait for corporate to do this
Wow, all this drama over floor mats.

The floor mats are pretty cheap to replace (invoice ~95).

I have no idea why the dealer won't just give you the all weather floor mats to keep you as a happy customer.

Do they really think you're withholding the mats that came from the car and demanding a second pair so you can sell them on eBay or something? It just doesn't make sense to me.

When all is said and done, it will cost them more to deny your request than to just give you the floor mats.

Just my 2 cents and good luck!
I'll second the fact that Jack Daniels dealerships are scumbags
