I have ‘14 Optima LX. I recently replaced valve gasket along with spark plugs and fuel pump gasket.
After driving it a while, I noticed more oil had leaked onto my heat shield. It didn’t seem to come from Valve cover.
Any suggestions on where I should begin to look?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One way to troubleshoot is to clean off all old spills. then you will be able to check again after it has a chance to form a new leak.

With the old oil all over the engine, you cannot tell where the new oil is coming from.

You could also add a UV dye to the oil without needing to clean the old oil off the engine, but I think it's just better to have an excuse to clean the engine without using dye. I haven't tried dye on the oil, but it was useful for the A/C refrigerant (which didn't leave any drips, so I needed to use the dye).
