A logical Thread repeat ..... Just chkd my Spare and it had 20 lbs Vs Should be 60.
Since it's Guaranteed your Spare will go Flat over X months,
have a good 12V air pump & chk your Spare's pressure (at least) ea 6-months - OR - Don't chk & 34 degrees and raining - Flat Tire - Flat Spare, & no pump.
Rely just on the pump (don't ever chk the tire) and Murphy's Worst Law is Flat Tire, Flat Spare, and Pump Fuse Blows - & no extra fuse. .....Check 'em.....

BTW, over x years my wife's Jeep has blown an Under-Hood fuse twice (#2 just happened) when the air pump was on BUT NOT the engine. I'll Now run the engine on both cars, and I'm going to get Spare fuses for the pumps AND Cars' Accessory Plugs (My Pg 8-72 Manual shows 20A - Power Outlet 2 is Frt - in Eng Box) / Pwr Outlet 3 is Rear Seat Plug / 4-157 about 12V Outlets.....
