Just dropping a hello.

I just picked up a 2013 Kia Optima SX. Love the car but found that it's one with the dim headlight issue. So in researching this, I found this forum. Hoping to have my issue resolved soon. It's been years since I've been in a forum, so thanks for having me.

Welcome. certain 11-13 had headlight recalls but think all of them should as the reflective material flakes off. there is a way to adjust the headlights up and down. just put a standard #2 phillip screw driver in this area and turn. think clockwise is upwards on both sides. park up to a wall and most people adjust upwards a lot as i did. call the dealer also and make sure the KSDS update is installed for lifetime engine warranty for them seizing.

Thanks! I have adjusted them but no improvement. The engine is all set....I've been researching for about a week and finding all sorts of goodies about the car LOL. Anyway, the dual projectors that K5 Optima Store has look great but $1700 is a hard hit....I really just need to see ahead of me. So I ordered a new headlight assembly. I also appreciate you responding to that Sale thread.....I was half out of it when I saw that message and totally missed the obvious. Thanks.
