As I just came across this recall, don't know whether it's been mentioned
before and wondering if anyone has received notification.
Georgia plant production 11/15/12-12/18/13.
Both 2.4 & 2.0T low pressure fuel line can develop cracks.

Hopefully just the production dates listed, so only 141,774 vehicles
involved this time, and looks as if there may be more potential fires
in the future.

Seems like the repair would be to replace the hose for free. Maybe put some silver heat wrap on it to keep it from happening again down the road. IDK.

Is there a way to check the production date of the vehicle, like by using the VIN to look it up?

I just received that letter yesterday! However, they replaced my motor from that timeframe and wonder if the recall still applies. Only a phone call will tell!

Believe the date of manufacture is on the drivers door jam placard/sticker.

Motor replacement would not have anything to do with the low pressure fuel line.

Well, at least it's a LOW pressure line or low pressure something for once!
(My high pressure A/C line blew twice). High pressure leaks also tend to explode! Exploding is ? LMAO.

They call it low pressure, but it's still about 72 psi.
