This is a great question, honestly I do not know the answer though. I can contact H&R to look into their spring rates for you, however I am unsure of the exact spring rates for the stock SX Optima.

Before I upgraded to coil-overs, I used to ride on H&R springs and they offer a great ride. Much better than some cheaper springs out there. Highly recommend!

I just installed a set of H&R Springs with TruHart Shocks and Struts and couldn't be happier with the set up. It is lowered to expectations but not floored. My goals were to reduce the wheel gap for a more aggressive look and improve handling without losing daily driving comfort. This set up met those goals and its like driving a new car. David at K5 Optima Store was really helpful as well.
