Just sharing some interesting info: https://www.motorreviewer.com/engin... also has an,valve seats and direct injectors.

Wasn't excited to hear the statement about longevity of the 2.0 Turbo not being one of the engine's strong points. Mine, according to the article, is above average on duration of life thusfar, 187K and purring like a kitten! I think on here we mostly hear about the bad news, most with a well working engine don't bother to tell the world, haha.

Including or not including the whole engine recall, that concerns the engine locking up, now gives lifetime warranty to the engine?

yeah that would be the 4th choice, warranty over $500 for engine repairs. Mine is used from a buddy but he had to pay nearly $500 for out of warranty wastegate sensor....turbo oil line replacement was under warranty. No other documented issues...
