Hey guys,
Just got an Optima LX a few months ago. Been trying to mod it up a bit and I thought I'd show the new quad led fog/drl lights I just got for the car. Was also wondering if anyone on here has them and if so I was curious if I would need to remove the bumper to install them.

I’d say you would need to remove the bumper, that’s what I did to replace my fog lights with just mesh. There’s a post on here if you search for bumper removal.

hmmm didn't know this was even an option for this generation. I still prefer the look of the traditional fog +drl look of the SX.

but as Steve mentioned, you do need to take the front bumper off and replace it, when i swapped my regular fog for fog + DRL, that's what I did. there's videos on youtube on how to take your front bumper off

This product will not fit on the 2013 Optima LX model, as it is designed to fit on the bumpers of the 2014-2015 Kia Optima.

I was worried about that at first but they are identical to the entire housing on my LX. I'll show some pics when I get them installed. But I'll put up a couple pics of how the lights where shown when I bought them as well as one of my cars fogs as of right now. If you guys still dont think they will fit please let me know.
Thanks

I am the owner of the K5 Optima Store, and have owned 2 separate models of Optima already.

I am 100% positive that these will NOT fit on your 2011-2013 Kia Optima at all.

The bumper cutout is completely different between the year models.

The ones that fit your year model can be found on our site below:

Wow, I have to say I am very impressed. I stand corrected, the only thing I can think of is that the vendor has changed the design of these to make them backwards compatible on the previous year generation. I think they look great!

I wish I could do this on mine, but I do have the LED DRLs right above the fog light. Which it looks like you don't. All of the sadfaces in the world for me. Looks awesome though!

^^ Same here and this is the first time I’ve seen this quad fogs on a 2013 model and like David mentioned the seller must have change the design to make it look like 14-15 models. Regardless great job and looks really good OP
