I have read quite a bit on this juddering transmission upon start-up from standstill. I found a TSB 083 that replaces the clutch pack and a reprogram of TCU.

My question is that if this does not fix the issue, is this going to eventually nuke the transmission when I am going to be out of pocket?

Is this just an annoyance?

I have only 11 months left on the 5yr/60k factory warranty. Did they increase the warranty on the transmission to 100k/10yr?

I work at Honda and we have condensor and injector issues and Honda has increased the warranty to 10/100 on them.

Hoping that Kia is doing the same so i do not have to worry about this or buy an extended warranty just for transmission issue.

Not sure, you'd have to look at your paperwork from the sale of the vehicle. It's up to the dealer on that, I believe.

Last I knew. The 10/100 was orginal owner. If sold it drops to 5/60 for powertrain. Least for my 2018.
