Or unless you have this one here : K5 Optima Store - 2011-2013 Kia Optima Roadruns V1 & V2 GrilleIMO it looks much better than the chrome grill, unless you got the SX grill.
I was actually looking at that, but for me the grille is just too beefy. Doesn't go well with the car I feel. If you offered one that with a thinner "border" I would like it a lot more.Or unless you have this one here : K5 Optima Store - 2011-2013 Kia Optima Roadruns V1 & V2 Grille
I got you. It's just a personal preference kind of thing I guess.I was actually looking at that, but for me the grille is just too beefy. Doesn't go well with the car I feel. If you offered one that with a thinner "border" I would like it a lot more.
They will not function properly the way they were intended to.What happens if they are installed without the resistors? Just curious?
Haha I figured that. I was more looking for what does happen? They don't switch colors? They stay constant white? EtcThey will not function properly the way they were intended to.
For starters they will hyperflash when using turn signal. Not sure what the white light will do but it also might not work as intended. Hope that answers your question.Haha I figured that. I was more looking for what does happen? They don't switch colors? They stay constant white? Etc

Yep exactly. Without the resistors installed, the bulbs will not function as turn signals the way they were intended to. Sometimes the amber light will just stay solid instead of flashing as a turn signal or lighting up white when the parking lights are on.For starters they will hyperflash when using turn signal. A picture? No there aren't pictures that I know of comparing the two of them. One would just be white the other one would have a hint of blue to it. There is no difference in brightness between the two.is there a picture showing the difference between the 5000k and the 6000k?
No need for an apology my friend. Yes these are the newer version of the older ones I sold last year. However, even though they may be a little brighter, I'm not sure it would be worth upgrading from the older style ones I sold. Maybe put that money toward some other cool mods?Alright, I apologize in advance, but I seem to be a bit confused. If I bought switchbacks from you last January, are the ones you are currently selling newer than those? I just got my fiscal year-end bonus and I'm looking to throw some of it at you. I've been very happy with the switchbacks I bought from you back then, but if there's bigger and badder ones, I'd like to do a little upgrade!
Yeah, that's kind of what I'm thinking too. Mine still work perfectly and look great, so I'll probably just leave them be for now - maybe if you ever carry a set that just blows all other switchbacks out of the water then I'll upgrade. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly...time to head to to the K5 Optima Store to see what else to pick up!
Thank you sir. That's what David does Illini. He's a good guy as you know. Looking to do some dealings myself soon.
Thank you for your order!Order placed
Thanks for posting up a pic. I love the look of the switchbacks on my Optima. Really improves the look of the front end lighting.I got mine installed today. Love they way they look. I have the 5k option. I wanted them to match the 80w fog lights and they do nicely. Easy install.
