Just bought a nice pearl white Optima Hybrid last week. My daily commute to work and back is 160 km 6 days a week, mostly highway, so I suppose a hybrid car is good option. Especially if it's not Prius
I made almost 1000 km already with average fuel consumption 5.7 l/100 km (~41 MPG). Not bad, actually. My Focus with manual gearbox gave me 6.5 in average. My wife's Sorento with 3.5 engine shows 10.5.
The car is 2014 EX Premium trim, with all available options. It has only 48K km. Everything is fine so far, except few questions which I'm gonna ask in a proper thread once I'm allowed to do so.
