Low Beam HID troubles, yes I joined for a frustrating mechanical issue. HOW DO YOU GET THIS DAMNED THING OFF!!! I do hope to learn what mods are best, save some cash along the way and maybe not blow the motor choosing a foolish path. Howdy from Texas!!

Welcome to the Optima Forums Cory!
These can be a real PITA to remove unfortunately.
What you need to do is apply pressure really hard on the clip holding the bulb in place.
Once you apply enough pressure, it will then allow the clips on the side to release.
Not sure why they designed it this way, as it makes it very difficult to remove them.

gracias, I am sure as a stamped piece of tin, they are very inexpensive. Adding difficulty only adds a percentage of folks that will give up and go to dealerships, which of course increases that revenue flow. (( If ever there is a question, the answer is almost always money )) See also " The Jerk" movie (( So..It's a profit deal!!! )) Anyway I think I see the idea, and x-axis pressure then y-axis pressure and it decouple from the platic tab at the front, I will give it a go today. THX again.
