It was time to retire my trusty 2005 Mazda3 after 267,490 miles. While still mechanically sound, it had some considerable rust and occasional starter hiccups. I told myself I didn't think I would buy new again, so after a few months of narrowing it down I came across a low-milage off-lease SLX. It even came with the Korean badging unbeknownst to me, which was going to be my very first change.

14 years of driving than manual Mazda3 are now all in the past, and I'm having a GREAT time commuting to work in a car that has comfort, space and pickup.

Glad to be here!
