Bought a second hand Kia optima 2011 ex 2.4 and when I went to change the front brake pads, I found out that caliper is for a different model which is why I couldn't fit the OEM Kia optima brake pads. Should I keep it as is or get the original caliper back ?
Serial code on the calipers: BC140135 MANDO-Thoughts on how it might affect the car?

MANDO is an after market supplier, and is pretty cheaply made. Without knowing how long its been on the car, it may be ok to wait but dont be surprised if the pistons start leaking. The best thing to do other than new oem is to go to a junkyrd and get a kia calper off a wrecked car and buy a reputable caliper rebuild kit (not doorman). Make sure you clean it throughly and reinstall.

Sort of confused, the Genesis not only takes a different caliper/pads, but also calls for a 13" rotor compared to the Optima 2.4 11.8".
