Anyone else have this experience? Smell is in the cabin.

I checked and everything is fine. I just unscrewed the bottom portion of the catch can and emptied it. It was pretty full with mostly gas byproduct. Screwed it back on and it is on tight. Didn't hit anything else or disconnect anything else. Did a double check and a triple check after a day of smelling it. I thought maybe I spilled some and was just getting some smell. But this has been for over a week now. So it would have dried up or burnt away by now.

Have emptied catch can many times, first time ever experiencing this.

Going to the dealership in a week for regular PM, but just seeing if anything else anyone can think of or if they've experienced this before I bring it up to the mechanics.

Figured it out. Easy thing to overlook, but I forgot to put the dipstick back in. Thought about it this morning on my drive in. Thankfully, I didn't leave it on the engine or car and instead it's sitting in my garage and I know where. Leaving this up since someone else may value from missing such a simple thing!
