I have just installed a set of xkglow 36” sequential led drl strips on my Kia Optima 2014. These were USD 159 so good quality and built to last, with resistors. However, they are flickering when the engine is on, but not when I turn on high beams, or when the engine is off and the ACC is turned on with the key.

Does anyone know why this would happen based on the description? I’ve also noticed that when I previously replaced the interior light with a led bulb (previously halogen) it also flickers... again, when engine is on but not when key is turned to ACC on. so both led lights are acting up.
Any insight is greatly appreciated, if anyone can connect the dots with the high beams/engine on and off differences.

You may want to look into a voltage stabilizer. They don't do anything close to what the product descriptions claim, but they are very good at smoothing out LED flicker, and also reducing stereo whine.

You can usually pick up a Pivot Mega Raizin knockoff for a decent price.
