I'm waiting for a return call from Kia Naperville dealer finance. Everybody is busy.

I got a letter from a different finance company than the one indicated on the purchase contract. We have had our home mortgage sold off one time, wonder if that was has happened here. Or do I have two finance companies?:shocked:

I thought buying and selling car loans is the new fad after the mortgage collapse, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Rather than calling the Kia dealer, who probably prioritizes their time with new customers, why not call the 1st finance company?

Tried that. The first finance company doesn't know me from Adam. The second finance company says the first finance company is crossed out and they are inked in. I have no copy of that. Surprise....

Slightly better terms by -.29% interest. Same loan balance. I'll be getting some advice before I visit them Monday.

They got a better deal at different bank. Probably sent to a few and used the best. Not unusual at all especially if they spot delivered you.

Spot delivery is spot on...lol I didn't have to buy a car, didn't intend to but the test drive did it. The sales and finance guy stayed after closing to finish up. I called the GM and learned the salesperson I purchased the car from no longer works there so thats why no return calls from him. Apologies, no excuse for no return call from finance, no harm no foul.

My car is paid off now, but after making 2 years of payments on a 5 yr term, my loan was sold to another finance company who uses CSC Logic for payment processing. Unfortunately, the welcome letter from CSC Logic was delayed and I had a payment due on the car loan. I couldn't send the payment to the old finance company (they turned off auto-pay) and I couldn't pay online at CSC Logic either so I had to send a FedEx with a check payment to CSC Logic. I eventually got the welcome letter from CSC Logic and I setup an online account. I then read that customer service at CSC Logic is terrible. Also, their website was designed in 1999 and very glitchy, so I paid off the loan and received the title promptly.
