Hello all.
My girlfriend’s 2013 optima lx seized on our way to Vegas. After waiting 5 hours in the middle of nowhere, we dropped it at the dealers and it’s getting fixed. My question for you guys is.

the guy taking care of the car is offering us a hose kit replacement for $300. He said it would normally be $700 for it. Is it worth it? Should we get it?

car has around 60k miles.

Thank you for your help

No, just be nice when refusing the offer as you don't want to have him do some damage to any of the hoses. Think that wouldn't happen, don't put anything past a shop, dealership or not.

Thank you, I’ll give him a call and go around it.
