Dealership Express Oil Change

Anybody have one of these at their KIA dealership? I think its total BS that KIA does not have an express Oil change service. My Jeep did, all Honda dealerships have them, and I think Toyota may as well. Before you lay in on me about how I should change my own oil, or blah blah. Understand, I don't have the at home space to perform this nor do I think I should need to. I am a business professional and I work a 8-5, M-F job and my dealer has oil change hours during the week of 9am-4pm? WTF is that all about?

I've never gotten my oil changed at a dealership so I don't know of any Express oil change deals, if they are telling you an oil change takes longer than 30minutes (or around that time frame) that's a little long...but anything under that time frame I see no complaint in.
And 9am-4pm are normal operating hours, can see the opening time a little on the late side but nothing that screams ridiculous.

You may need to take an hour or two to get it done. I know it sucks, but it may be your only choice.

Its not so much how long it takes, its the fact that I have to schedule it? In my Jeep and Honda days I just pulled in and said "I'm here for and oil change"..... It's like walking in to great clips and them asking you "Do you have an appointment"? It's an oil change- I'm not asking for your to change brakes or something....
and 9a-4p are normal operating hours for who?? Bankers don't even have those cake hours!
People go into work at 8am, you think maybe they could open at 7:30, **** at least 8! Then, normal people get off at 5, how about you close at 6, or once again 5pm!

Sorry, I'm just venting- thank-you........
Plus the Bobcats got jobbed last night in the NBA draft lottery...

I usually ask for a window, not a specific time, and that gives me a little flexibility. Sounds like your dealership doesn't have that capability?

Find a new dealer? The one I use I just pull in ask for the oil change and tire rotation and I'm outta there in under an hour. The hours are 7am till 7pm iirc.

I know this is heresy but I like my neighborhood Jiffy Lube! I've been going to them for 15 years. They have always greeted me with my surname. I have watched them put in the oil from bottles (no bulk oil for me). No "accidental" 5w-20 for my SX. I got it changed today with my first Kia oil filter and they wanted where my usual K&N was, and I explained the TSB about after market oil filters. The mgr laughed and said Ford had tried something similar with their Motorcraft filter to no avail. 20 minutes of car talk and I was gone. BTW I used Mobil 1 0w-40. Yeah, Yeah I know. Wrong viscosity.
