Have 2012 optima hybrid with a bad clockspring, diagnosed by local kia dealer. Problem is right now there are no replacement parts for my VIN anywhere in the Nation's Kia supply system (backorder), but there are some for same year that won't workon mine. Does this sound possible? Are there different ones for 12 optima hybrids based on packages? Frustrated in Kansas.

Looked, wrong part number. Last numbers for mine 3R321. I think I did find one on there however.

when i need some oem parts i go to Kia Parts - Genuine OEM Kia Parts and Accessories Online and input my vin and voila - i got what i was looking for. hopefully your spring will be there.

but if it isnt, maybe you can do a DIY out of it? find something similar to the dimensions found on that oem site? ive done that beore , looking up part dimensions on oem sites and see if i am able to do some DIY hacking and use other things as temporary hold ons (like in your springs issue, find something close that will help).
