Hello,

I am having a hard time trying to remove the cover/panel for the center/3rd brake light bulb behind the rear seat. There is no instruction in the manual for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

The anchor points for it are under the entire package tray trim component. It's two screws, and then you have to slide it towards the rear of the car, and it will pop out. You can't get at them through the trunk, so you have to disassemble/remove the backseat cushion, side bolsters, trunk acess trim, and C pillar trim, then remove the rear deck. (You won't be able to remove it entirely, due to the seatbelts. Just slide it down them, until it flips completely over)

It can be done though, I did a 3rd brake lamp delete when I installed my lifted spoiler.

The only tools you'll need are a trim popper, a 13mm socket wrench, and a Philips screwdriver

Here's a diagram of the entire assembly: https://www.kiapartsnow.com/genuine/kia-trim-assy-packa~856104c00087.html
