My Kia (62K miles) check engine light blinking and stutters when accelerating. The error code is P1326 - Knock Sensor Detection System. My basic warranty has expired. Does anyone know if there is a safety recall/ warranty extension for this?

This just happened to me and my KIA Soul only had 87000 mikes on it. Highly recommend going to the KIA dealership because after market software is not good from local mechanics. Unless you have a current warranty then there is no recall at least that's what happened to me with my Soul. I also found out that KIA has had major issues with most of their engines. I was lucky to have mine completely rebuilt several years ago but , unfortunately it took another **** and I will be trading it in for a new car and definitely NOT another KIA! Good luck with yours!!
