Hello,

I just purchased this today and I was curious since I am running the LAP3 Uncle Chip Tune if any other readings than "boost" will be inaccurate due to the chip.

Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks,

David

Nothing should show any different on the OBD reader, as it will see only what the ECU sees.

Since the ECU does not see the chip at all, everything will read just the same as if you didn't have the chip installed.
Two questions. First, does anybody know if a 2016 SXL comes with the factory with the steering programming 'SX light' or 'SX standard'? And can it be changed by an OBD2 device like the above, although I own an iPhone 6S+? Dealer doesn't know crap. They told me there's no such option. My steering is on the light side even on sport mode, so would like to change it, if it's that simple. Thanks.

I can't answer if the 2016 has that setting or not. However, settings like that cannot be changed with an OBD2 reader like the one mentioned in this thread. These devices simply read info from the ECU. If you happen to have (or know someone that does) a dealer quality scanner then you could change it. They are not cheap though.
