Should have posted this a long time ago...but better late than never. Purchased new 2016 optima with a slipping or hesiting trans. Went back to Kingston Kia about seven times and they saw no problem. Went online to arbritation and district manager asked if I would be willing to take the car to a trans shop and accept their decision. I agreed and after they drove the car they stated the trans. Had to be replaced which Kia did.
Kia only responded after I went to arbritation. Will never buy another Kia. This was my third Kia. No loyalty.

Didn't mention the engine/trans, but if the 1.6T with the DCT, the transmission is terrible even when operating properly as it slips and jerks which is considered normal. Having said that, even though Kia considers it to be normal, I certainly wouldn't want a car that acted that way, so guess Kia lost another customer.
