Hey all,

I'm new to this forum and the online kia culture in general so forgive me if the answer to my question is obvious!

I'm looking for a path to upgrade my optimas horsepower. I'm willing to do turbo and cooler upgrades and w.e else but I've hit a bit of a snag. I'm pretty sure that upgrading physical components would require a software tune as well to get the power where it should be. Is anyone aware of a kit (turbos, intercooler and software ect..) for the 2020 sx? Perhaps just the software to tune the computer after physical components are on. I'm able to find physical components just fine but I'm unaware/cant find any software tuning kit for this model year, so that's the main thing I'm looking for. Any suggestions for boltons are helpful as well! All advice is welcomed as well. Thanks.

Seems as though the 2020 Optima is a forgotten soul, as least as far as listings, but as far
as I'm concerned it should be the same as the 2019. Having said that, I'd contact Lap3 to
see if i'm correct.

I would begin by upgrading a different vehicle, IMO

After having the same motor in my 2016, I'd have to concur with the above. It's luck of the draw though, so you never know.
