Getting ready to take the wife's 2017 Optima FE in for it's 30k mile service. Looking through the owner's manual, it seems that the transaxle never needs the fluid changed. Is this accurate? The idea of never changing the fluid make's me cringe. Any thoughts on this is greatly appreciated!

I cringe at the price of the dealer's 30k service. Being the wife is the principle driver and probably a cautious, non-aggressive driver, your trans fluid should be fine for 50-60k.
