Not sure how that suggestion makes sense, unless the diagnosis of that P0420 code turns out to be caused by something completely unrelated to the engine swap--i.e.., some other issue that may have been building up prior to your engine breaking down.

They finally figured out I needed to get my first CAT replaced. After running the engine for testing the exhaust from the engine must’ve caked up the CAT. Brought it there yesterday and had to leave it there because the tech working on my car stripped the bolt that is attached to the turbo. They needed to wait for another tech to come in this morning to work on it. Apparently they torched it off.

Hoping for no more CEL’s.

I’ve had it for a week or so. Car is running fantastic. No CELs finally. Hope she lasts.
