Wife’s Optima broke down last night on her way home. Had BMS warning light/message and then just went completely dead. Called a tow truck. Tow truck driver connected a jump-box to the battery and everything powered up.
had him tow the car home. Took battery out this morning to go have it tested. Battery tested bad. Went to dealership. Bought new battery. Put battery in. Everything powers up, but the **** thing won’t start. There are no other errors or indications of a problem. Is there a “reset” trick I need to perform after replacing the battery? Am I missing something?
Any advice would help. Thanks in advance!
